Construction site enclosures

Temporary Fence & Site Hoarding Malaysia

Temporary mesh fencing and solid site hoarding that go up fast, keep the public out and move with the works. For construction sites, road works, excavations and land awaiting development.

Overview

Temporary fencing or hoarding?

Temporary fence panels are welded mesh or chain link panels that stand on concrete or plastic feet and clamp together. No digging is needed, so a line goes up quickly and can be moved as the work moves. They keep people out while leaving the site visible.

Site hoarding is a solid wall of metal deck or zinc sheets on posts and rails. It screens the works from the road, holds back dust and debris, and gives space for project signboards. Sites next to public roads are commonly required by the local authority to put up hoarding, so check your approval conditions.

For enclosures that will stand for a long time, such as land awaiting development, chain link on posts is often the most economical option.

Why it works

Secure the site from day one

Quick to install

Temporary panels need no excavation, so a site can be enclosed before work starts.

Movable

Panels unclamp and move as phases open and close, so the enclosure follows the works.

Screens the works

Solid hoarding hides the site from the road and keeps dust and debris inside.

Controlled access

Lockable pedestrian and vehicle gates keep entry to the points you choose.

Common questions

Frequently asked

Should I use temporary fencing or hoarding?

Use temporary mesh panels where the enclosure needs to go up fast or move often and a see-through fence is acceptable. Use solid hoarding along public roads, where dust and debris must be contained, or where the authority requires it.

Do I need approval for site hoarding?

Most local authorities in Malaysia set conditions for hoarding on sites beside public roads, such as height, signage and lighting. Follow your consultant’s drawing and the council conditions; we build to that specification.

Can temporary fence panels be moved during the project?

Yes. Panels stand on feet and are joined with clamps, so sections can be unclamped and moved as the work progresses or as access routes change.

Will temporary panels stay up in strong wind?

On open or exposed sites we add stays and ballast to the feet. Panels covered with shade netting or signage catch more wind and need extra bracing.

Can the hoarding include gates for lorries?

Yes. We install vehicle gates sized for site traffic, plus pedestrian gates, in the same line as the hoarding or temporary fence.
