About roll top fencing
Roll top fencing, widely known in Malaysia as BRC fence, is a welded mesh panel with the top and bottom edges rolled into a loop. The rolled edge makes the panel stiffer and removes the sharp wire ends, which is why it is used wherever people walk past or children play.

How it goes together
Roll top fence components
Fence panel
Welded mesh with the top and bottom edges rolled into a smooth loop, so there are no exposed wire ends.
Fence post
Round galvanised post set in a concrete footing, spaced to suit the 2400 mm panel width.
Bolts, nuts & U-clips
Panels clip to the post with U-clips and bolts. No welding on site, and easy to replace a panel later.
Finish
Galvanised for a silver look, or powder coated. Black and green are the most common colours.

Frequently asked
What is the difference between BRC fence and anti-climb fence?
BRC roll top uses a 50 × 150 mm mesh. It is strong and tidy but can be climbed. Anti-climb fence uses a 12.5 × 75 mm mesh designed to stop climbing and cutting. BRC suits schools and housing; anti-climb suits high-security sites.
What colours are available?
Galvanised silver is standard. Powder coating is available, with black and green being the most popular for housing, schools and sports facilities.
Can roll top fence be installed on an existing wall or kerb?
Yes. Posts can be base-plated and bolted onto an existing concrete plinth or low wall instead of being set in new footings. We check the existing structure first.
Do you supply matching gates?
Yes. Single, double and sliding gates can be supplied in the same finish as the fence.
