About security & decorative mesh
This is the finer end of our expanded metal range: diamond openings from 9 × 29 mm up to 35 × 76 mm, in sheet thicknesses of 1.0 to 3.0 mm. The small openings make it hard to reach through or get a grip, while light and air still pass, which is why it is used for security screens, grilles and machine guards.
The same mesh also works as a decorative material for facades, ceilings, partitions and feature walls. The range includes three LOM codes with a wide 6.3 mm strand.

Choosing a code
Smaller hole, higher security
9 × 29 and 13 × 30 mm are the tightest openings in the range. Hardest to reach through or grip, and the most private. Code 2015 pairs the 9 × 29 mm hole with a 2 mm sheet.
16 × 38 and 22 × 57 mm balance security with a more open look. The 22 × 57 mm family has the widest choice, from 1.5 to 3 mm thick.
25 × 76 and 35 × 76 mm are the most open, lighter per square metre, and popular for facades, ceilings and ventilation panels.
LOM codes use a wide 6.3 mm strand on a 16 × 75 mm opening for a bolder, more solid appearance.

Which code is the most secure?
The smallest openings with the thickest sheet. In this range that is 9 × 29 mm, and code 2015 uses a 2 mm sheet with it.
What is LOM mesh?
LOM codes have a 16 × 75 mm opening with a wide 6.3 mm strand, in 1.0, 1.5 or 2.0 mm thickness. The wide strand gives a bolder, more solid look.
How many sheets are in a bundle?
It depends on the code, from 40 sheets for the heavier codes up to 200 sheets for the lightest. See the Bundle column in the code list.
