About razor and barbed wire

Most security fences finish with a top treatment. Barbed wire on extension arms is the economical option. Razor blade wire (concertina coil) is used where the deterrent must be obvious and serious, such as on factory walls, storage yards and utility sites.

We supply razor wire in coil and straight form, in galvanised or stainless steel, and install it on new fence lines or retrofit it to existing walls and fences. This is often the quickest way to upgrade a boundary without replacing it.

Double spiral design

Two interlocking coils form a denser, stronger barrier than a single spiral, and spring back if pushed.

Sharp blade edge

Reinforced barbed blades deter climbing over the top of a wall or fence.

Galvanised or stainless

Galvanised steel for general use, stainless steel for coastal and high-corrosion locations.

Fits existing boundaries

Clips onto brackets on existing walls, chain link or mesh fences. No need to replace the fence.

Can razor wire be added to my existing wall or fence?

Yes. We fix brackets or extension arms to the existing wall or fence posts and clip the coil on. It is far cheaper than replacing the whole boundary.

Which coil diameter should I choose?

450 mm and 600 mm coils are the usual choice on top of walls and fences. 700 mm and 1000 mm coils are used as standalone ground barriers or stacked for higher-security sites.

Galvanised or stainless steel razor wire?

Galvanised steel is cost-effective and suits most inland sites. Stainless steel resists corrosion much better and is worth it for coastal areas or where the wire must last many years without rusting.

Is razor wire legal on a house wall in Malaysia?

Razor wire is widely used on residential walls, but local council and residents’ association rules can differ. Check with your local authority or management body before installing on a residential boundary.
